'Scary Spice' Mel B launches international fitness campaign

Former Spice Girl Mel B, renowned for her amazing physique, is preparing to host a new weight-loss reality TV show – and has also thrown herself behind another fitness campaign.

Singer Mel, perhaps better known as Scary Spice, flaunted her figure in London today, where she launched International Fitness Week.

Mel was always in great shape throughout her tenure as the resident big haired one in the Biggest Pop Act of the 90s (does that need a TM?), but since having children, she’s slimmed down by training for the US show Dancing with the Stars, which she followed up by releasing her DVD Totally Fit: Mel B.

Just last year, Mel revealed a low body-fat, athlete-like figure whilst holidaying, before braving it in skimpy outfits for a Las Vegas burlesque show last year.

Mel, who has been to Frankfurt and Amsterdam as part of International Fitness Week, said she wanted to inspire people to make a healthy lifestyle change by finding out what kind of fitness activity best suited them.

'I want to encourage everyone to find what works for them and make being active part of their lifestyle.  It’s easier than you think to get totally fit and we will show you how,' she said.

Mel B has recently been lined up to host the second series of Dance Your Ass Off, a successful show on Oprah Winfrey’s Oxygen channel in the US - where contestants lose weight by dancing with a pro dance partner.
